Enjoy the incredible sunsets on this water front cabin situated on Horseshoe Lake. This lake connects to Black River Lake and Cocodrie Bayou. The raised deck has spectacular sunset views that will make your get away a once in a lifetime experience. Launch your boat less than a mile away at the marina and dock your boat on your own private pier. The marina has back down launch, fuel, tackle and live bait. Fish, ski and tube right in front of the cabin.
If you are a hunter the national reserve is less than 4 miles away. Enjoy a great hunt then BBQ & relax on the deck while telling stories of the one that got away.
If you don’t hunt, fish or boat not to worry, hanging on the deck watching the incredible sunsets will be relaxing enough.
While the bathroom is tiny and only has a shower, you will love the beaded board walls!
This cozy little piece of paradise is 750 sq. ft. plus a loft of 144 sq ft. There is a screened porch with a great view of the lake that is 360 sq ft.

Summary: This is our second time staying here so obviously we love it! It's very private, cozy, peaceful. My husband loves to fish and the kids love to swim and kayak. The porch is everything! The owners are excellent and very helpful.

Summary: This was the perfect place for a do-nothing, relaxing getaway. Checking in was very easy. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions. We loved the screened-in porch the most. It was perfect to getting a of the fresh air of nature with none of the visits from critters. The sounds of lake lapping gently at the rocks was so soothing. We will try to book this again.
